44g Green & Blue Ammolite Fossil Palm Specimen

This naturally bright & colorful specimen is a fragment of a full ammolite fossil. Stabilizing and polishing these specimens is typical from this source. This single sided piece has a beautiful color with the bright green, which dominates the piece, but it does have some blue mixed in and red out towards the edge. It's a beautiful piece! I acquired this piece in September of 2022 during my trip to the ammolite mines in Canada. An outstanding specimen from the locality.

These fossil ammolites are around 70 million years old & these particular ammonites are among the few sources that produces such spectacular brightly colored specimens and gem quality pieces
