This vibrant light blue/green beryl crystal was discovered in 2024 and we have been told it is vanadium & chromium bearing. The question whether to call it aquamarine or emerald is still in debate, so we are just calling it beryl for the time being. Many of these specimens have a darker color banding towards the termination, but this particular crystal doesn't show any obvious color banding. It is slightly fluorescent and will show a pinkish fluorescence when lit by a long wave UV flashlight in complete darkness. These are the first few beryl crystals from this source that we've had the opportunity to select. We consider this piece to be a Thumbnail Specimen (TN). We consider this to be a Thumbnail (TN) sized specimen.
