10.57ct Intense Color & Dark Base Ethiopian Opal Rough

This top quality rough Ethiopian opal has a deep, amost blue, colored base with intense colors that flow throughout. This gorgeous piece is solid opal that displays well in any direction. Not only that, but this piece is very fine cutting material that will have a great yield. We recommend that this opal material NOT be submerged in water (unless it is being cut, water will keep it cool), and it should never have any oils applied to it. Also, due to the hydrophane nature of this opal, the weight can vary slightly with humidity. We consider this to be a Thumbnail (TN) sized specimen.
